Information We Collect

Simple Useful Tools operates as a platform that does not require user accounts. We aim to collect the minimum amount of information necessary to provide our services.

Calculator Inputs

The calculators on our site do not require user accounts, and users are not required to provide personal information to use them. Calculator inputs are intended to be processed locally in your browser where the current implementation does so, and these inputs are not intentionally used to create personal profiles.

Email Communications

There is currently no contact form on the website. However, users may voluntarily email contact@simpleusefultools.online. When someone emails us, their email address and the information contained in the message are processed to respond to the inquiry and necessary follow-up. Users should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive, financial, confidential or highly personal information.

Technical and Hosting Data

Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process information technically necessary to operate, secure, and deliver the website. This information may include IP addresses, request or server logs, browser or device information, and security-related information. Simple Useful Tools does not intentionally use this technical information to create user profiles.

Legal Bases for Processing

Depending on the processing activity, legal bases may include:

  • legitimate interests in operating, securing, and maintaining the website;
  • legitimate interests in responding to user communications;
  • compliance with applicable legal obligations.

If optional processing requiring consent is introduced in the future, consent will be obtained where required by applicable law.

Service Providers and Recipients

Simple Useful Tools uses service providers required to operate the website. We currently use Hostinger as our hosting and email infrastructure provider. Service providers may process personal or technical information as necessary to:

  • provide infrastructure services;
  • deliver the website;
  • operate email services;
  • maintain security;
  • prevent abuse;
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

Simple Useful Tools does not sell personal data.

Cookies and Local Storage

For detailed information about our use of cookies and similar technologies, please refer to our Cookie Policy.

Third-Party Services

Simple Useful Tools currently does not use Google AdSense, does not use advertising tracking, and does not use advertising personalization. There is no analytics service currently integrated. If analytics, advertising, or other third-party services are introduced later, the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy will be updated as appropriate.

Data Retention

Email communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the inquiry and follow-up, subject to legitimate or legal recordkeeping needs. Infrastructure and security logs may be retained according to provider operational, security, and legal requirements. Calculator inputs are not intentionally maintained as permanent personal profiles.

International Data Processing

Simple Useful Tools can be accessed internationally. Our infrastructure providers may process technical or personal information in different jurisdictions depending on their infrastructure and service providers. Where applicable data-protection law requires safeguards for international transfers, appropriate safeguards and transfer mechanisms will be used.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on applicable law and circumstances, users may have rights regarding their personal data, which may include the right to:

  • access;
  • rectification;
  • erasure;
  • restriction of processing;
  • objection;
  • data portability where applicable;
  • withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent;
  • lodging a complaint with a competent data-protection authority.

Please note that not all rights necessarily apply in every situation. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), GDPR rights may apply where applicable.

Children's Privacy

Simple Useful Tools is not specifically designed or directed toward children and does not intentionally seek to collect children's personal information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. If new services or tracking technologies are introduced, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.
